The QX series is Nissan Forklift Corp.'s newest addition to its Platinum family of electric lift trucks. The series includes four models with capacities from 4,000 to 6,000 lbs., using 80-V, 100 percent AC power.
The trucks feature a tight turning radius and low center of gravity. The standard regenerative braking system helps reduce power consumption.
Standard safety features include programmable PIN access to help prevent unauthorized use, an automatic mast-lock system to prevent mast or fork movement when an operator is not in the seat, and controlled rollback for ramp use.
The company's AC-TECH system includes onboard diagnostics that provide instant performance information to help reduce troubleshooting time and eliminate the need for handset tools.
Up to five unique operator profiles can be created for performance that is customized to fit individual operator needs. Low step height; 41 in. of head room; and a full-suspension, adjustable seat add to operator comfort. Optional synchronized steering automatically returns the wheel knob to the same position following the completion of a turn.
