Phosphate-free acid pickle cleans inorganic soils from metal
Henkel Corp. has introduced an industrial-strength, phosphate-free acid pickle, Bonderite® Deoxidine® 216™, designed to clean inorganic soils off of metal surfaces.
Formulated to thoroughly clean rust, laser scale, weld scale, and oxides while protecting the base metal, the acid pickle prepares steel parts and components for conversion coating. It is approved for use with the company's Bonderite conversion coatings.
The acid pickle is designed to perform equally well at ambient temperatures and at elevated operating temperatures up to 180 degrees F. It can be applied via spray or immersion systems.
