FARO BuildIT Projector 2019 software helps increase accuracy in building, assembly

FARO® has released BuildIT Projector 2019 software for manufacturing, measurement, and construction applications. When combined with the company’s Tracer(SI) Imaging Laser Projector, it gives users an all-in-one system for laser-assisted templating and in-process verification. According to the company, the new version offers workflow enhancements for improved efficiencies in production and QA/QC processes.

The system helps users build and assemble correctly the first time, every time, eliminating the need for creation and maintenance of specific hard tooling or templates, the company reports. Engineers and operators can create and share digital template files, generate in-process verification reports, and verify the assembly to determine the presence of foreign objects.
