LED flashlight designed for NDT
Spectronics Corp. has introduced the Spectroline® OPTIMAX™ 365, a cordless, rechargeable, UV-A LED flashlight suitable for NDT applications such as MPI, FPI, and general fluorescent inspection.
The flashlight produces a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of up to 18,000 µW/cm2 at a distance of 15 in. Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, it provides 90 min. of continuous use between charges. The LED lifetime is 100,000 hrs.
The 11.8-oz. flashlight features a corrosion-resistant, anodized lamp body. It comes with UV-absorbing spectacles, a belt holster, and smart AC and DC battery chargers.
