Toyota, Fuji Heavy to produce Camrys in Indiana
The Associated Press has reported that Toyota and Fuji Heavy Industries, maker of Subaru vehicles, will produce the Toyota Camry at the Fuji factory in Lafayette, Ind., beginning in the spring of 2007.
Outlined by the presidents of Toyota Motor Corp. and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. in Tokyo, the venture is expected to create 1,000 jobs.
