V-Tech opens Indiana plant

V-Tech Eng. Inc., Bluffton, Ind., a producer of food processing equipment for the baking and snack food industries, has opened a new site in Adams County, Ind. The plant expands the company’s manufacturing space by 125 percent to accommodate recent business growth and the company’s plans for further expansion.

The 21,000-sq.-ft. facility produces tunnel ovens and serves as the final assembly point for all equipment manufactured. It is equipped with new sheet metal forming and fabrication equipment, and the company plans to add more robotics for sheet metal handling and welding processes.
