Reviewing Miller's Multimatic 220 multipurpose welder
Josh Welton takes a closer look at the welding machine in his Detroit shop
On this episode of my thefabricator.com video blog, I'm going to review Miller Electric's new multi-process machine: Multimatic 220 AC DC.
It is the multi-process machine that everyone in the welding industry has been demanding for years; one that can do everything you want to do in your garage or your small shop.
The Multimatic 220 MIGs, TIGs, TIG AC aluminum, high-frequency starts, and has a lot of other really cool tricks that maybe fly under the radar a little bit since AC gets the headline. And it should. It's awesome to have that option.
So I'm going to talk through some of the machine's options and see if the AC holds up. Will it be enough machine to do what I want to do when I'm working on projects in my Detroit shop? The answer is yes, but let me show you in the video.
